Reslosound Ribbon Mic NOS RCA SK46 Camden Ribbon

Here’s another classic Reslo ribbon microphone from the 1960’s! This Reslo RB has just been re-ribboned with NOS RCA SK46 ribbon element using RCA Camden engineering shop tooling by Stephen sank. Also new RCA spec Cotton voile cloth windscreen wrap and new neutrik mic cable. Still under warranty and The result speaks for itself. Stupendous! It’s common knowledge that these British ribbon mic’s were made famous by use of The Beatles. For modern studio uses, these ribbons have a pillowy low end and have nice results on guitar and bass amps and in front of a drum kit. With the addition of the RCA SK46 ribbon, this one has a big round, mound of sound. While they need some gain, the Reslo’s has issues getting the usable output they need on loud sources! There is a small dent in the windscreen body, barely nooticebale that does not affec performance. i Whether you’re looking for an old ribbon microphone with a nice history or a new option for the studio, this Reslo RB with RCA ribbon is a great addition to any studio!
