We have three of these units. Two are connected to the line inputs on our ASP 4816 giving us 32 mic pre's which allows us to have hot mics in any of the rooms in the studio. We are building out another control room and two of the units are available for sale here on Reverb. Not an opinion from someone who can't actually compare them to the pre's in the console - they are identical, interchangeable but do have the added benefit of the HMX and MOSFET Drive available on channels 1 and 2. A classy way to get some 'English or Chicago' flavor at the press of a button.
These units have been used on dozens of recordings and sound great. New gear is here and these will be pulled tomorrow. This listing is for unit # 2. A separate listing will be for the other.
