1969 Oud musical instrument Onnik Uner Karibyan RARE!

1969 Professional  Oud musical instrument by Onnik Uner Karibyan RARE!  I've had this instrument in my studio for over 15 years.. maybe more. Purchased at the old Maxwell St mkt here in Chicago when that was still going. It hung on my wall for at least 8 years with no strings as decor.  Around 2015 I read an article in Fretboard Journal with David Lindley and Oud master John Bilezikjiad. I'm a big David Lindley fan since his work Jackson Brown and in this article they talk about these Ouds at length. I had never looked inside mine and saw that Johns Ouds looked like mine ... ran off shined a light in the bowl and OMG!.  I ordered some strings watched some videos on how to tune etc. During this time I was doing sessions here in my home studio and that oud made it on some recordings we were doing at the time ...mainly soundtrack stuff for TV and independent movies. I am not an Oud player but we used it for color on tracks and we doubled bass some with this. Studio closed during the pandemic .

So I want to get this Rare instrument into the proper hands. Its playable now, but after all these years will need some attention. The bridge is lifting slightly on the left side but its been like that since I got it. There is a repaired small crack next to the sound hole but otherwise looks to be solid. Check out the video where I make some noise with it. Hate to see it go but its time :)  We purchased a semi rigid case to ship this in.. Expertly packed.
