The CMATMods Brownie is a hand-built, Marshall-in-a-box style distortion pedal designed to emulate the iconic "brown sound". Utilizing a licensed BSIAB (Brown Sound In A Box) circuit, it delivers high-gain, sustain-rich tones comparable to a cranked Marshall half-stack.
Key Features and Specifications
- Controls: Three straightforward knobs for Tone, Gain, and Level to sculpt your output.
- Circuitry: Features all-analog circuitry and a socketed JFET that allows players to swap out parts for varying gain stages.
- Hardware: Equipped with true bypass switching and a very bright blue/red status LED.
- Power: Runs off a standard 9V battery or a standard DC power supply. Can also run on 18V power.
