Guitar Cabinets Direct Tweed Twin Cabinet 2024 - Aged Tweed

For sale is an authentic reproduction Fender Low power Tweed Twin 2-12 guitar cabinet Made by Vintage Experts Guitar Cabinets Direct. Its Made of Baltic Birch. It comes loaded with two original English Celestion 8 ohm guitar speakers, a GK 65 and a Vintage 30. This is set up for a tweed BassMan conversion. The chassis holes on top measure 18 7/8ths from center to center. I ordered This cab for Tweed BassMan conversion to a 2-12 but sold the BassMan chassis before I finished the project. I’m using smaller amps these days and decided to sell the cabinet and not look for a Tweed BassMan chassis. an input jack can easily be wired to the back panel to use as a 4 or 16 ohm speaker cabinet depending on series or parallel wiring. I have listed it as very good due to a tiny scratch and two hardly noticeable dents, one on each side of the cabinet. the Tweed is the perfect aged yellow and all seams line up perfectly. The minor imperfections are clearly shown in the pictures. They occurred moving the cab from my storage area to my car. It has only been used in my home studio and never been out of my house. It sports a reproduction late 50’s Fender Badge. This is a tremendous value. The cabinet alone would cost $450 plus shipping and the original British Celestions another $350. I would recommend leaving the GK 65 in place, it is a great sounding British speaker and due to its shallower depth will not hit the back of the large Twin or BassMan transformer. it’s a great cabinet for You amp guys who like to tinker and experiment with amps.
