It is incredibly rare to find a guitar with this much authentic road wear that hasn't been modified or parted out over the last four decades. This one is a true survivor. The only non-original parts on the entire instrument are the strap buttons, which were upgraded to straplock-ready versions (a practical upgrade most players do immediately anyway).

Condition & Playability

The finish wear is 100% genuine—no artificial relicing or factory staging here. This is the result of years of honest stage time, giving it the unmistakable look and vibe of a genuine 1950s Fender. The neck feels incredible in the hand, worn in naturally with beautifully rolled edges that you simply cannot replicate in a custom shop.

• Neck & Frets: The neck is perfectly straight, the truss rod functions smoothly in both directions, and the frets show minimal wear with absolutely no buzzing, dead spots, or intonation issues.
• Provenance: There are small holes on the headstock from a previously mounted string bar or locking nut—a classic '80s mod vestige that only adds to this road warrior's story.
• Pickguard: The original single-ply pickguard has a crack and is missing the lower horn tip, matching the guitar's aesthetic perfectly.

Electronics & Hardware

Under the hood, everything is remarkably untouched and period-correct.
