14x8 purpleheart snare drum, custom made
I bought this on reverb a couple months ago, really great sounding snare but I learned a 14x8 isn’t for me
Everything works well, I added lug lock tension rods. The throw off is old and has some minor problems, beyond that it’s a great sounding drum.
A lot of body and a lot of tone, the purple heart mixed in with the 8 depth and thin shell really combine to bring a unique drum tone
