Looking for something eye-catching but not totally off the wall? Offered here is my original design N2 symmetric double cutaway ergonomic beveled hardtail body with HSH routing. It features a Spalted Flame Maple top with Walnut accent layer over a *Chambered* White Limba (Korina)  Weighs 4.56 lbs.  Like all my bodies it's 100% CNC made in house in Red Bank, NJ USA.

*Uniquely this one has a thin CA Sealer finish over the entire body (GluBoost)*   I wanted to make sure the soft Spalted Maple had a hard coating.  It has a smooth textured feel and open grain when held up to light. You can apply filler and spray Gloss Clear Lacquer over top to bring out the shine.

This body will work with any Fender or compatible 25-1/2" scale Strat style neck with 4 bolt pattern, and popular 2-1/16" narrow spaced hardtail bridges.  Custom shorter screws with locking washers which fit the scooped heel are included. No neck plate required.

 I do rout my neck pockets right on 2-3/16" wide with very tight tolerance so necks fit snug. If your neck measures much more than 2.1875" wide at the heel with calipers, you may need to sand the neck or the pocket for proper fit.  This is by design.

 Pickup routs are neck 3/4" deep and bridge 11/16" deep for direct mounting short leg humbuckers with wood screws.  You can use mounting rings, but you'll need to drill the ends of the cavities deeper for the height adjust screws.  The Large Control cavity is cut for 2 controls and a blade switch. There's plenty of room to add additional switches, pots, battery, and onboard electronics.  

 You will need to drill holes to mount your bridge, jackplate, and strap buttons.  The 7/8"D jack hole and beveled edge will fit Rectangular, Football, or Electrosocket jackplates such as PLT-S  or AllParts JP-1020,  JP-5435, JCB-2, or AP-5270

Everything else is done. All wire channels are routed or drilled.

It's sanded to 120g on the back and sides and 220g on top.  I recommended raising the grain and sanding the entire body to at least 220g before applying any type of finish or sealer.  The first few photos show the top wet with naphtha to reveal the figure.
