NEW JE Labs Audiophile 6V6 Triode Single Ended SE Tube Amplifier Amp w/ Tubes

Brand new build using high quality parts, PTFE wire, JJ can capacitor, Nichicon audio grade capacitors, Vishay & Ohmite resistors, ClarityCap audio film capacitors, Belton tube sockets,  Belden 8450 Shielded Input cable, Hammond choke, Built on a black powder-coated Hammond chassis 
Legendary Tamradio Tamura premium quality Japanese nickel output transformers . These vintage transformers are highly sought after by audiophiles and DIY tube amplifier builders because they are celebrated for exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship. They provide a deep rich bass extension and spectacular nuance and detail. These units were used in a top of the line Sony TC-500A reel to reel tape recorder.

This is a JE Labs design using the 2 6V6 vacuum tubes in triode by "strapping" the screen grid and plate together with a 100 ohm resistor emulating the highly sought-after, organic sound of Directly Heated Triodes (DHT) while costing a fraction of the price for tubes. Additionally the amp uses no feedback or UL so the sound is very pure and natural, this amplifier is amazing for blues and Jazz, horns really come to life with a certain warmth and realism a lot of amplifiers do nat achieve.

The only enhancements made to the original schematic (original schematic shown)  are larger resistors in some areas along with virtual center taps on all the heater taps to eliminate any hum. Additionally a .01 safety capacitor has been added across the power to eliminate any on/off switch noise. 

The Amplifier is rated at 1.5 watts per channel but sounds much more powerful as the gain is very high. The amplifier should be used on efficient speakers (90 db +) and the power will be more than enough. I have never needed to turn it up more than halfway on my 93 db speakers.

This tube amplifier is almost dead silent with very little hum, you have to stick your ear to the driver to hear anything at all and it is still minimal then. 

Comes with 2 Soviet 6v6 (Reflector Factory), 2 RCA 6F5 metal tubes, 1 brand new 6CA4 rectifier.
