Sonic Farm Audio Creamliner mkIll

The Creamliner III is one of Sonic Farm's flagship studio processors, designed to add harmonic richness, depth and dimension to line-level sources while preserving clarity and transient detail. Built around EF86 pentode tubes and premium Cinemag transformers, it delivers everything from subtle analogue enhancement to beautifully saturated tube character. 

Unlike many tube processors that simply add distortion, the Creamliner III was specifically designed to enhance digital recordings, stereo mixes and mastering chains by producing a warmer, smoother and more cohesive sound while maintaining excellent headroom. Sonic Farm originally developed the unit for live and mastering applications, where it quickly gained a reputation for giving digital sources a more natural, three-dimensional presentation. 

Sound

The Creamliner III excels on virtually any line-level source, including:

• Summing mixers
• Drum machines
• Synthesizers
• Keyboards
• Vocals
• Individual tracks and stems

Condition

The unit is fully functional and performs exactly as it should. It was serviced in March 2023. The service note inside the unit indicates the following work was carried out:

• Transformer repair
• Power supply repair
• PCB and diode repairs
• Reflowing solder joints on the power supply and connectors

Internally the unit is clean and well maintained. Cosmetically it shows normal signs of studio use, including scratches on the top cover and some wear around the rack ears.
