The Boomburst is a boutique suboctave fuzz-drive: an overdriven signal is run into a CMOS hex inverting buffer alongside a binary counter/divider clocked in a PLL-like fashion, producing a fuzz-drive blended with a sub-octave voice that gets rhythmically chopped into one of 8 selectable tremolo/vibrato-style patterns (speed tracks pick attack dynamics, pseudo-randomly). Controls are a bypass footswitch with LED, a toggle for low-octave vs high-octave focus, two top volume knobs (blending dry/effect and drive signals), a Gain knob, and a rotary pattern-select knob for the 8 trem/vibe patterns. It's a mono pedal measuring roughly 94mm wide x 114mm high, running on standard 9V DC center-negative power and drawing 100mA. It's known in boutique/experimental fuzz circles for its unpredictable, glitchy octave-tremolo hybrid tones (compared to a chiptune boss-battle bitcrushed drive) and its one-off hand acid-etched enclosures, meaning cosmetics vary pedal to pedal; output level runs notably loud.
