The Martin "1T IZ Tenor Uke" was created to honor the legacy of Israel Kamakawiwo‘ole (affectionately known as "IZ"), one of Hawaii's most iconic artists.

The top, back, and sides are crafted from Quilted Genuine Mahogany, featuring a beautiful grain pattern. Paired with an East Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, the instrument delivers a warm, rich tone with excellent sustain.

It features tortoise-pattern binding along the body edges and a multi-stripe rosette around the soundhole, creating a refined, vintage-inspired aesthetic.

The East Indian Rosewood headplate showcases an "IZ" inlay made of Koa wood and a hibiscus flower decoration crafted from pink abalone pearl—a distinctive design that reflects IZ's name and Hawaiian roots.

The neck is made of Genuine Mahogany with a satin finish. It features a 20-fret fingerboard and joins the body at the 14th fret. Equipped with black Pegheds planetary gear tuners, it offers smooth, stable tuning while maintaining a traditional ukulele look.
