This 2011 Fender American Vintage '62 Telecaster Custom plays and sounds great! This now discontinued model captures a great snapshot of the early 60s Telecaster custom, the highest price Telecaster of its time. The guitar is comprised of an alder body, slim "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish has aged great over time, showing wear consistent with a vintage Telecaster.

The factory-equipped Fender Pure Vintage '62 Telecaster pickups deliver classic Tele sound, with vintage correct 60s wiring, with the following controls,

Position 1 Bridge Pickup

Position 2. Neck Pickup with Tone Control (Bright Vintage Circuit)

Position 3. Neck Pickup with No Tone Control (Dark Vintage Circuit) 

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The "Custom Telecaster" decal on the headstock shows minor scuffs as well. The hardware and pickups are also starting to show some normal tarnishing from over time. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
