59 Tweed Bassman Reissue Upgraded w/Alessandro Hand-Wired Service. Purchased from Alessandro at Hound dog corp. This is a great amp. If you're not familiar with Alessandro's work, look him up. I'm just not playing anymore and it's time to get to someone who is. This amp has never been gigged out. Just used in my smoke free home studio.
Used 2007 Fender '59 Tweed Bassman LTD Reissue that has received our Hand-Wired Service, which includes the following upgrades:
• Removed the inferior printed circuit board, pots and jacks.
• Rebuilt from the ground up, just reusing the transformers, chassis, tube sockets and a few other parts.
• Custom proprietary Alessandro epoxy/glass laminate, mill spec. board is used to wire the circuit using audio grade silver eutectic solder, Alessandro Foil caps, Alessandro high-end made in Germany proprietary filter and bypass caps, silver mica caps in audio path, High-End Alessandro Pots, PTFE/Teflon coated silver plated wire (same as used on Alessandro High-End Products amplifiers) and switchcraft jacks.
• Carbon resistors in audio path for proper tone and film resistors in power supply for quiet, reliable operation.
• Removal of Capacitor Can from the outside of the amp, moving the filter caps inside the chassis on the main board assembly.
• Upgraded Eminence SC-59 Alnico 10" Speakers (x4)
This amp has been completely transformed into something more in-line with what a real '59 Tweed Bassman would sound and feel like, but at the convenience of being more reliable.
