I'm guessing an early 70s (?) Kawai-built Global brand electric guitar. Plain-jane, lots of dings and scratches, but actually, there's very little evidence of much play time. I don't think it's even been opened up.
Neck is straight. Frets are low of course, as all of these are, but they are in good condition. Not much fret sprout. Plays well, intonation is not as bad as you would think. But you don't buy these for intonation, you buy them for the great tone, especially with a fuzz pedal! This thing sounds terrific, and has great sustain. Loads of fun for garage rock, punk, or trippy acid distortion.
It was pretty dirty and crusty when I got it, and I bought it thinking I would sand it down and repaint it. But once I got it cleaned up, and saw how nice the finish still was, scratches and all, I decided to leave it as is. But I have too many of these now, I gotta let some go!
