Instrument has been played heavily over the years, and visually it shows with scratches and lacquer wear throughout. You would never know when playing it though. INSTRUMENT PLAYS FLAWLESSLY. All slides move nice, valves work as they should, good compression, new water key cork, instrument just was chemically cleaned and hasn’t been used since in preparation of the new owner to enjoy. Mouthpiece is heavily used. Case has Ben repaired multiple times through the years, but shows/functions well except the locking latch is coming apart and the case has a soft spot behind the bell. Mediocre solder repair on valve #2slide. Removeable 12” bell. Known for its classic British brass band sound, warm tone, and deep projection. Ser # 144787.
