Up for grabs is a scarce, early Japanese production model, 1990 Fender Jaguar (JG66-70) presented in its vibrant 3-Tone Sunburst finish, remaining completely original throughout. Built to vintage specifications, it features a 7.25" radius, beautifully dark rosewood fretboard with a "C"-shaped neck profile.
A modern Fender gig bag is included with the sale.
This Jaguar is in great playing condition and is 100% functional, with no breaks, repairs, or modifications. It displays honest signs of use consistent with its age. Cosmetic wear is limited to the occasional small ding, surface marks, and light scratches, all of which are clearly documented in the accompanying photos.
The neck is clean and smooth, with no noticeable dents or imperfections in the playing areas. All 21 frets show minimal wear, offering plenty of life remaining and ensuring excellent playability. The chrome and nickel hardware has developed a tasteful natural patina, enhancing the guitar's vintage character. All electronics remain original, untouched, and operate exactly as intended.
The original blue "70" sticker remains intact on the rear of the headstock, denoting the 70,000 price these examples carried when new in 1990.
The I-serial prefix and pot codes beginning with "0" identify this as a 1990 production model.
