Selling this Applause by Ovation acoustic guitar preamp set. The set is in great condition. Includes everything seen in the photos.
The layout is highly utilitarian, using vertical sliders rather than standard rotary knobs:
- Gain Control: A master volume slider to adjust the overall output level of the preamp signal going to your amplifier or PA system.
- 3-Band Graphic EQ: Independent vertical slider controls for Bass, Mid, and Treble frequency bands. Each slider features a physical center detent position where the signal remains flat (no boost or cut). Pushing a slider above the center boosts that frequency range, while sliding below it cuts it.
- Power Source: Operates on a standard 9V alkaline battery (not included). The preamp circuit is typically activated automatically whenever a standard 1/4-inch shielded instrument cable is plugged into the guitar's output jack.
