Brand new. I purchased this amp because it sounds great and it connects to an application in which you can type in Jimi Hendrix or john Mayer and those are just example names but of any artist you can think of and it will change the settings to make your guitar sound like those Guitar settings so it is absolutely amazing. The only problem is I’m the kind of guy that likes to plug my fender Stratocaster into an old school amplifier that doesn’t link in with applications. I like an old-school amplifier and I like to plug my Stratocaster into it. I’m just an old man I guess and I’m used to that sound. I’ll say this amplifier though, this new school type that you connect to an application is very cool and I think somebody that’s into that would really like this. It’s just not for me so it’s basically brand new. I’ve only played it for about five minutes, unhooked it, I knew I was going to probably sell it so I boxed it back up and now I’m here selling it. Nothing wrong with It at all. It’s just not for me. Believe it or not it is actually very loud. So it’s more than just a practice amp. id suggest look up the reviews on this amp because it gets great reviews and people share a lot of detaia about the anp that I may have forgotten to include
