A fantastic violin from American maker Don Leister in Richmond, Virginia. No 70, made in 2013.
This instrument is in like new condition and has seen very little playing time. It just returned (July 2026) from a full setup and adjustment by Brandon Godman, owner of The Violin Shop in Nashville and The Fiddle Mercantile in San Francisco. In my opinion Brandon does among the best setups of anyone in the country.
This is a beautifully made instrument. It is light and resonant and has a full, rich voice that will continue to open up as it continues to get played.
