A beautiful example of the Black label era Medium rides (produced from 1972-1981) a forerunner of the more crystalline modern line of 602's but with considerably finer spiral patterned hammering, imparting a little bit more character and complexity while maintaining the shimmering clarity this legendary series is known for but mellowed by almost 50 years age. At 2382g this is a little bit on the heavy side of the average weight for Medium rides, very crashable with a pure and beautiful bell. No cracks, no flea bites around the edge, no keyholing. Just a very clean vintage ride with the clarity Paiste is known for with a touch of dark smoothness you cant find in today's catalogs.
