14 x 6.5 Pearl Reference (not pure) snare drum built around 2013 purchased new. This is the Purple Craze II which has a slightly redder hue than the original Purple Craze but is hard to distinguish. I have had both. NO issues. I am not in a band and have several kits. This have lived in cases with Silica Gel Packs for years. NO Scratches, pitting. I did not polish it for the photos. NO need to.
