Electro-Voice 1776 handheld cardioid condenser vocal microphone.
The mic is in exceptional condition for its age. Please see the pictures for the cosmetic details. It was made in the U.S. in the late 70’s. It has been professionally modified for use with phantom power because the specified batteries are no longer available. It looks like the original battery leaked a bit in the back as many of them did if they were left in after they wore down. The mic looks like it had very little use.
These mics have a very large frequency response (50-18Khz), and they sound better than a lot of newer mics. Very solidly built. It has new internal foam in the grille. This is the same mic as the EV PL76. Mic only.
