The Loar LH-250 – All-Solid Small Body Acoustic (Blues & Roots Machine)
Condition: Excellent
w/ hard shell case
Up for sale is a fantastic The Loar LH-250 (2012). This is a highly resonant, small-body acoustic guitar that punches way above its price tag thanks to its all-solid wood construction and Greg Rich design.
It features a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, giving it a classic, dry, vintage punch. It’s incredibly comfortable to hold and play, making it the perfect couch companion, fingerstyle guitar, or roots/blues tracking tool for the studio. Great string balance and a classic look. Action is extremely low and plays very easily. A player who strums harder might want to raise the action.
Cosmetics are clean with only minor signs of light home/studio use. Only cosmetic issue, two small flaws near the end pin. See images as part of the description. Comes with a hard shell case. Exterior handle is loosened around one of the fixed core elements, functions but needs attention. See images as part of description. Priced for a quick, hassle-free sale. All-solid for under 500 bucks.
This LH-250 was played only at home and kept in a climate controlled space.
Reason for selling: am doing a major sweep of my studio toward specific other models.
This listing is cross-listed and will be removed as soon as possible should it sell elsewhere.
[Greg Rich design (former head of Gibson Custom Shop), small body blues box, roots music, Americana, L-1, 1930s vintage guitars, pre-war guitars, Robert Johnson]
