Up for sale, a 1976 Gibson ES-335TD in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a vintage case. 100% original with the exception of a bone nut upgrade and professional refret with medium jumbo fretwire, this well-kept vintage ES-335 features a thinline semi-hollowbody maple body and a three-piece maple neck capped with a bound rosewood fretboard and small block inlay.

This ES-335TD has a warm and full-sounding natural acoustic tone with the articulation and snappy note attack of maple augmented by the breadth and sweetness of the semi-hollow body design. Indicative of late ‘70s Gibson spec, this ES-335 is loaded with Tarback humbuckers, boasting an additional factory two-way global coil tap switch on the treble-side cutaway. The Tarbacks are epoxy potted for excellent feedback rejection, working well with higher gain and still providing a sparkling, dynamic response. With both pickups engaged, it's easy to dial in an ideal rhythm tone that has just enough percussive cut and roundness, and with the neck pickup singled out, things fatten up nicely with a bold wooly sweetness. This ES-335TD weighs 8lbs, benefitting from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with roundwound 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
