Here is a completely refurbished example of the classic Rogers 7 Line 5x14 Dynasonic snare drum. This one has been completely disassembled, cleaned, polished, lubricated and gone over top to bottom. Professionally reassembled and set up properly, as well as fitted with brand new Rogers B&B lugs, heads and wires.
First, every one of the lugs was replaced with new Rogers lugs! All 10 of them! Why? Because when this drum was found in an attic in Annapolis, MD., every one of them was horribly cracked. They were kept and will be included with the sale of this drum!

Otherwise, as you can see, the drum is in excellent and original condition, and except for the new lugs, new Rogers logo Remo heads and new Rogers snare wires, it’s all original and was worth saving. The chrome is excellent, the original Tall boy hoops, clockface strainer & butt, snare frame, muffler are present and not a single tension rod or washer was missing! See the last picture to see what it looked like when I first brought it home.

The new lugs required cup washers for fitment to the metal shell(see pictures). I acquired and modified them to fit against the shell beads, and they worked perfectly.

This one you can crank up and not worry about cracking 70 year old irreplaceable and somewhat fragile lugs. Why do you think they changed to beavertails anyway? Here’s one you can take out and play, tune to your liking, and no one is the wiser.

Serial # 1789, makes it the 789th Dynasonic ever made. A fairly low number!
