API 550A 500 Series EQ in Gold

Under the hood, this is a standard 550a, NOT a Saul Walker hand-wired 50th anniversary edition, it’s just gold (which is sick). Basically, if 550a’s were Cadillacs, this one will pull up to the stoplight with spinners. Won’t go any faster, but it looks way cooler!
Other than the Saul Walker editions, API has never released a version of the 550a in a gold finish. I talked to API on the phone about this specific EQ and it was from a custom ordered "The Box II” and the guy paid a bunch of extra money for the gold faceplates apparently. So at the most, there are only 8 of these out in the wild which is pretty cool! For some reason, the seller sent it in one of their 50th anniversary literal lunchboxes that they only gave out with the anniversary editions so I’ll throw that in there!
