New build May 2026, Tweed Deluxe.
Relisted because I swapped in as re-coned P12RH Which sounds better that the one I originally used (That one will be re-coned sometime in the future), Pine cabinet, tweed cloth.Uses a contemporary Power transformer and 1965 Output transformer from a Hammond organ (The best for a Tweed Deluxe IMHO).
The speaker is a Re-coned Jensen P12RH from a Capeheart High Fi amp likely 1950, not 1960. The H indicates that the speaker is a P12R but with a stronger magnet, likely the same as the one used on the P12Q.
It sounds like it should.Modifications are tweaking the cathode capacitor on Channel one to eliminate the notorious flubby bass, and including a Bright cap on channel two.
