I really love the Stratocaster and I’m going to miss it, but I’m putting it out there to see if anyone bites. This is a Japanese STR 80 made in 1984 and from everything I can tell all of the hardware and electronics are original. This one is rare because it looks to have a factory humbucker in the neck which most of the ones that I’ve seen have single coils. It does have a coil tap that works great. The hardware is aged beautifully. The tremolo stays in tune and works great. There are a few cosmetic limbs as you can see in the photos and I’m not sure if any of you know this but these do have a thin veneer top and as you can see this one has a few spots on it that could require some attention, but I never messed with it because it doesn’t affect the playability or sound of the guitar at all. This is a truly amazing Strat in the neck feels great. There’s a tiny crack beginning to develop up near the nut, but I took it to luthier and they said that it’s nothing to worry about that sometimes it happens. This guitar needs nothing but a player. No case, but it will be packed very well for shipment. Any questions just ask.
