I'm moving my Tony King Royalist Preamp on down the line.

This was my first foray into high-end preamps, and this thing is great! It's works great for running direct out and features a myriad of options for doing so, but it also really shines going into the effects return of a real amp, thereby adding two additional channels to the amp. In fact, it's so amazing at this that I realized that I wanted to add it to my main pedalboard rather than exclusively using it for gigs where I wasn't using an amp. This will add two channels into any amp that has a serial effects loop and a clean power amp section.

It's absolutely rad! If you have something like a Bogner Helios that doesn't really have a clean channel or an older Splawn QR with a kind of sterile clean channel, throw this in the loop, and now you have a sparkly JTM-45-Style clean. Or maybe you have an amp that really only does cleans - well, now you can add two seriously legit 60s and 70s Marshall channels to it. Maybe you are a Mesa person who has never quite been able to get your Rectifier or Mark to do the Marshall thing - problem solved!

The problem I have is that I predominately play Marshall-style amps (bet you couldn't have guessed that from my examples). For what I need, the Imperial is the better option. That's the only reason I'm selling this. As a n00b to the preamp game, I simply made the wrong choice after I got up to speed.

Comes with everything it originally came with. I bought it new from Sweetwater in May. I'm not exactly sure how it got a couple of scratches on the front side panel, but that is the only cosmetic wear I could find.

I just checked for any updates to the firmware yesterday, and all seems in order.
