Here is a beautiful 1984 Fender Japan ST62-70 Stratocaster finished in aged Vintage White with a rosewood fretboard.

This is an original JV-serial Fender Japan example from the highly regarded early Fujigen production era. The JV95284 serial number corresponds with the handwritten July 16, 1984 date found on the neck heel, further confirming the guitar’s production year.

The ST62-70 was a higher-grade ’62-style model featuring vintage-inspired appointments, including a rosewood fretboard, small pre-CBS-style headstock, three single-coil pickups, vintage-style tremolo, three-ply pickguard and vintage-style tuners.

The guitar was just cleaned, restrung and professionally set up. It plays comfortably with low action and is ready to go.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows normal play wear consistent with an instrument that is now more than 40 years old. There are light scratches, small marks and general signs of use throughout, along with natural aging and patina to the hardware and plastic components. The Vintage White finish has developed a great warm, creamy appearance over the years. Please review the photos closely for the best representation of its cosmetic condition.

The frets remain in very good overall condition with only light visible wear and plenty of life remaining.

A great opportunity to own an early JV-serial Fender Japan Stratocaster from one of the most desirable periods of Japanese Fender production.

The switch is a 3-way switch which is normal for this era.
