This little gem is from 1930. It plays like a dream with low action and appointments are all original.
The square bar frets were slightly rounded for easier movement up and down the neck.
It had professional neck reset a few years ago and it was so well done you can't notice at all (truly).
Very solid instrument. Sounds amazing with that mahogany parlor sound - and so resonant!
For an almost 100 year old instrument, it has small nicks here and there. Nothing noticeable unless close inspection. Nothing needs to be addressed. In fact, this is one of the best cosmetic 2-17s I've seen.
If you're looking for a nice looking and comfortable 2-17 that is ready to play now, consider this one.
Comes with ETKL case.
