Another nice Nakamichi in Super Clean and Excellent Working Condition. All complete service including recapped power supply and audio paths Nichicon Low ESR and Muze, all new belts, idler tire, rebuilt idler motor, cam motor all done 07-10-2026. Clean all heads, transport service, clean rollers, all moving parts and worm screws are cleaned and lubed, UDAR transport properly. Deoxite all pots. LED indicator and tape speed was dialed and checked properly which is on full specs then test drive. This deck is in excellent working condition and the sound is just amazing the traditional Nakamichi optimum sound! I sold a lot of quality decks here and mostly serviced. Look at my feedback.
The RX-202 transport features UDAR, Nakamichi's unique uni-directional auto-reverse mechanism, eliminating the azimuth error loss of conventional auto-reverse decks.
The music sensing circuit monitors playback and fast forwards through blank 'tail' to provide uninterrupted playback.
A dual master fader creates smooth 2 or 4 second fades at a touch.
The frequency response of the RX-202 rivals that of most highe end decks thanks to a specially designed laminated Sendust record/play head.
