For your consideration is this stunning Gibson Explorer Custom VOS, Ebony - Custom Shop, purchased from the Gibson Demo Shop in 2022. Gibson Explorers are highly coveted rock machines, but they are also incredibly versatile guitars, that can cover multiple genres. I loved the one show I got to play with this one in our 80s cover band, and it was iconic playing Def Leppard's 'High n Dry' and 'Let it Go', as well as Judas Priest's 'You Got Another Thing Comin''. That's the only stage time it has, and has been a staple in my studio this past 4 years. My first guitar some 45 years ago was an Explorer, so this style has always had a place in my heart, and hands. Some high vet bills are due, so I'm sad to have to let this one go, but hopeful it lands in the hands of another whose chasing tone dreams include an Explorer.

• Finish Top: Light scratches near the treble side cutaway, somewhat uneven VOS finish; Finish Sides: Small dings on the treble side horn tip, slight lacquer blemishes on the bottom, Light scratches; Finish Back: Slightly uneven VOS finish; Finish Neck: Slight overspray at the heel, Light scratches on the bass side near the 18th fret, able to see where thru neck connects to body, slight finish blemishes between frets 1-3; Binding: Slight discolorations on the bass side upper frets and on the treble side cutaway tip; Finish Peg Head: Slight overspray at the top, Light scratches on the face.
