I am the original owner of these speakers. They have served me well and I have depended on them over the decades telling me the truth about the music I was recording, arranging, or mixing. They have dings from the years from moving to the different studios I had, but they sound awesome.

When I was recording at the Yamaha R&D Studio in Glendale (later AIRE LA) owner/engineer Craig Burbidge was recording a synth OD I was doing. I asked him to move it from the Main Auspergers to the NS10m's and he turned and laughed at me. That's what I was hearing.

He told me the misconception was small speakers do not need powerful amps. They do, and in fact he had a PM1000 on them! That's the reason they sounded so good. It wasn't loud, it was frequency response.

I picked up a PM2200 for mine and it was a match in heaven. I may list that amp here too. It really is the perfect match and I am considering doing the potential buyer a favor by pairing them. The amp is biased for them!

The physical condition is acceptable for their age and use. I like to think of them as battle scars lol. But the sound is truth.
