For sale today is a Fender Jazz Bass from 1977. A few notes on the overall condition:

-This bass has some play wear and checking, expected of an instrument of this age, but nothing that affects sound, playability, or structural stability (see photos).

-There is one spot where it looks like the headstock started to crack, but it has been repaired. It is an old repair and is perfectly stable.

-The original frets are fairly worn, but the wear is even, and outside of some minor sizzle in a few spots, the bass rings out up and down the fretboard without significant buzzing, dead spots, or other major issues.

-This is a true "working man" bass - almost every part has been replaced, outside of the body and neck, but it plays and sounds great!

-Under the pickguard, the neck pickup was routed out for a P-Bass pickup at one point.

-Includes non-original hardshell case.

-Weight is 9 lbs. 12.79 oz.
