The Technics SH-8025 is a vintage 7-band stereo graphic equalizer. It features up to 12db boost/ cut for each of the 14 frequency “channels”; 7 for the left stereo channel and 7 for the right.
The brushed aluminum faceplate stands out and looks close to new!! All of the controls are visible in the photos, as well as the tape in and outs on the back. This unit functions perfectly. An e/q gives you the ability to adjust for room sizes and/or acoustics. Want more bass? Done! Need some highs? Done! When wired in the signal chain properly you can make adjustments to a source being recorded. That’s fun!
This e/q is meant to work with a vintage amp/ receiver that has tape in/ tape out feature on its back panel. It may not work with some of the recent a/v receivers or amps without tape in/ tape out hookup.
