Mojotone René Martinez Quiet Coil SRV "Texas Strat" Noiseless Pickguard Assembly Black/White

*Authorized Mojotone Dealer

This is an E11even Guitars Custom Shop hand wired René Martinez Quiet Coil "Texas Strat" pickguard assembly. It is a drop in replacement for SRV Stratocasters, and other Strats using the vintage 50s 8 hole screw pattern. Ours differs from the Mojotone factory assembly in that it is hand wired to vintage correct specs, where the factory assembly utilizes a modern printed circuit board control circuit. This one is for those looking for an authentic SRV #1 assembly with zero hum from the pickups.

It features vintage CTS 250K pots with a CRL .033uf oil filled tone capacitor, CRL 5 way switch, Switchcraft jack and Gold pickup, switch and pickguard screws. All wiring uses vintage Gavitt "push back" wire.

Here is the official Mojotone description of the René Martinez Quiet Coil pickups

Over the past decade, Mojotone has been honored to partner with legendary Texas guitar tech René Martinez in producing his signature Texas Strat® pickups, and now we have his blessing to take our shared pride and joy to the next level.

Introducing our René Martinez Quiet Coil™ Texas Strat® Pickups, combining our unrivaled Quiet Coil™ technology with René’s impeccable ear and demanding specifications. Here is that flood of Texas sound that you have been looking for, to get the house rockin' without any frustrating 60-cycle hum.

Carefully balanced in output from the neck, middle, to bridge positions, and completely hum-canceling in ALL positions!

Our approach was very simple, to make a hum-cancelling Strat® pickup that looks and sounds like a real single coil with minimal parts and adhering to actual vintage single coil attributes. We've matched the resonant peak frequency, and inductance of René’s Texas Strat® single coils, so they sit right in the frequency response and feel without having to compensate at all.

No batteries, stacked coils, or anything else associated with other hum-canceling pickups were used in our design. The result is simply the most pure and authentic Strat tone possible, with absolutely no loss of true single coil tone. They are sonically clear and warm, with every bit of single coil sparkle and chime, just like our original Texas Strat® pickups.

NOTE: With all Mojotone Quiet Coil™ pickups, you never have to worry about string spacing and radius issues, or the magnets pulling the strings out of tune, and you can bend the strings heavily without ever losing focus or sustain. All of this while achieving perfect single coil Strat tone and absolutely no hum!
