Here is a beautiful example of a 1969-1971 Ludwig No. 908P 5x14" Jazz Festival Model snare drum in Sparkling Blue Pearl finish.
This drum was likely manufactured during the transition period when Ludwig was moving from the Keystone badge to the pointed blue/olive trapezoidal badge and the shells had already been drilled for the Keystone badge. This accounts for the badge being mounted lower on the shell.
No major dents, dings, or scrapes to report.
Heads, snares and all hardware are in excellent playing and cosmetic condition.
Also included is a Ludwig Contura case and Ludwig stand that came in with the drum kit.
P-85 Strainer and large knob tone control are both functioning properly.
Clear lacquer interior finish.
The drum has been thoroughly cleaned and professionally set up and tuned by a respected local instructor and is ready to play with the following updates:
Remo Coated Ambassador Drumhead For Snare Drum
Remo Smooth White Ambassador Snare Side Drumhead
20 Strand Standard Steel Snare Drum Wires, Chrome, with nylon cords
I have included a YouTube video of this very drum!
