Few records have had an impact on guitar playing and music in general as BB King's Live at the Regal recording from 1965. Recorded in November 1964, BB's singing and most importantly, guitar playing, are a masterclass in beautiful and emotive phrasing, and inspired almost everyone who's played electric guitar since. Legendary players like Eric Clapton have cited this record specifically as a huge influence. To commemorate this seminal pillar of the evolution of electric guitar playing, Gibson Guitars recreated the unique 1995 ES-335 BB used for this iconic performance. It featured the rare combination of a varitone circuit and factory Bigsby tremolo on a 335 model, with the distinctive "argentine grey" finish. This limited run of Murphy Lab aged instruments faithfully recreates this guitar in precise detail. This example is in excellent shape and includes all of the original case candy from the Custom Shop. A dream guitar for any fan of BB King and electric blues guitar!
