Up for sale is a rare, handmade, high-end masterpiece from the legendary PRS "Pre-Factory" era, crafted in Paul Reed Smith's small, original workshop.

This Custom 24 features a jaw-dropping High Quilt Maple top with a stunning grain pattern, beautifully finished in a transparent "Scarlet Red" lacquer.

This model proudly showcases the groundbreaking features that put PRS on the map: iconic Bird Inlays, a rock-solid, tuning-stable Syncro Tremolo, a 5-way rotary pickup selector, and the famous Sweet Switch.

The pickups are Standard Bass and Standard Treble sticker ones. From glassy single-coil Strat sounds to thick Gibson humbucker tones, this guitar does it all. It effortlessly delivers superb tones for Funk, Blues, Rock, or Heavy Metal—a true, versatile all-rounder.

The fingerboard is made of highly desirable Rio (Brazilian) Rosewood and, of course, comes accompanied by the appropriate, official CITES documentation.

An interesting piece of history: Paul Reed Smith purchased the original neck-carving machine from the old Gibson factory. Because of this, these early instruments share the exact same neck profile legacy as classic Gibson solid-body guitars.
