The 2555X is a faithful reissue of the legendary 2555, launched in 1987 to celebrate the brand's 25th anniversary. Made in the UK, it's a 100W all-tube head, switchable to 50W, equipped with three ECC83 preamp tubes and four EL34 power tubes. Its unique circuit, somewhere between a JCM800 and a more modern amp, delivers high-quality clean tones, a very expressive crunch thanks to the Pull Rhythm Clip, and a powerful lead channel, made famous by guitarists like Slash., John Frusciante Or Joe Bonamassa. With its effects loop, two channels, power reduction, classy aesthetics, and a thicker, more singing, and more compressed tone than a classic JCM800, the 2555X is now considered one of the best Marshall amps for hard rock, blues-rock, and classic rock. This particular one is from 2022 and is in very good condition.
