Up for sale is a matched pair of HEDD Audio Type 20 MK2 studio monitors in excellent condition. These are hands-down one of the most transparent, revealing monitors in their class, handmade in Berlin by the team founded by Klaus Heinz (the same designer behind ADAM Audio's AMT tweeter).

I've run these as a mixing/mastering reference and they've been babied — no dents, no scratches on the cabinets, drivers and AMT tweeters are flawless, and everything functions 100%. [Adjust to your reality — e.g. "one very minor scuff on the bottom edge, pictured."] Smoke-free, pet-free studio.

Why these are special:

• True 3-way active design: 7" honeycomb woofer, dedicated 4" honeycomb midrange, and HEDD's high-definition Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter — each driver runs its own 300W ICEpower amp (900W total per cabinet).
• Onboard SHARC DSP with HEDD's Lineariser® for near-perfect phase linearity — the imaging and depth are genuinely a step above most nearfields.
• CoP (Closed or Ported) technology: flip between ported for bigger low-end or sealed for tighter, more accurate bass using the included port plugs.
• Analog XLR and digital AES/EBU inputs with AES pass-through for daisy-chaining.
• Desk filter, shelving filters, and bass-extension mode to dial them into any room.
