Fano built its name on offset and single cut designs that mix familiar vintage references with modern playability and boutique-level detail. The SP6 is one of the brand’s core models, using a lightweight single cut body shape with a 629 mm scale length, bolt-on construction and a straightforward control layout. It has a clear link to classic American electric guitar design, but the shape, hardware choices and neck feel give it a character of its own.

This 2017 Fano Standard SP6 has an alder body finished in Olympic White, with Fano’s factory ageing giving it a worn-in look straight from the workshop. The 3-ply mint pickguard, matching headstock and simple control layout keep the look clean, while the rounded heel gives easier access to the upper frets. The maple neck has a 50’s style round profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays and a 254 mm to 406 mm compound radius.

The pickup layout combines a P90 in the neck position with a T-style single coil in the bridge. It is a practical pairing, with a fuller neck pickup and a brighter, more direct bridge pickup, controlled by a volume, tone and 3-way selector. The 3-saddle ashtray bridge keeps the guitar close to traditional T-style hardware, while the shorter 629 mm scale length gives it a slightly different feel under the left hand.

This example is in excellent condition, with Fano’s original ageing and only minimal additional playwear. It comes with the original Fano gigbag, some paperwork, and extra pickguards. COA is missing. Weight is 3700g.
