The Danelectro ’59 DC Reissue is one of the most faithful recreations of the legendary 1959 double-cutaway model, capturing the unmistakable look, feel, and sound that made the original Danelectros cult favorites among players and collectors alike.

Built in Korea during the highly regarded late-1990s/early-2000s production era, these reissues are widely considered some of the finest modern Danelectros ever made. Known for their exceptional build quality, lightweight Masonite-over-plywood construction, and signature lipstick pickups, Korean-made examples have become increasingly sought after compared to later production models.

The pair of lipstick pickups delivers the unmistakable Danelectro voice—bright, jangly cleans with surprising warmth and clarity, making this guitar ideal for indie rock, blues, surf, country, garage rock, and classic pop.
