This Fender American Standard Telecaster has a neck stamped with the date, June 27, 1988. It has that classic combination of a black finish, white pickguard, and maple neck and fingerboard. It is in very good condition for its age, showing only light cosmetic wear from normal use over the years. It remains all original and has clearly been well cared for. The frets have plenty of life left, and the guitar plays and sounds exactly like a great Telecaster should, with plenty of snap, twang, and clarity.
A nice example from the early years of Fender's American Standard series, this Tele has the feel and tone that made these guitars a favorite among pro players for decades.
Includes the original hardshell case.
