I built this JM around a genuine early Fender Japan JV Jazzmaster body — Fujigen-made, Candy Apple Red, one of the earliest domestic-only Japan offset runs.
These bodies don’t come up often.
The body has got some dings and wear from being played, nothing that affects playability.
Original Japanese tremolo bridge is still on it. I’ve also got the original pickguard if you want to swap back to stock — it’s currently wearing a tortoiseshell guard, both included.
Put a brand new MIM Jazzmaster neck on it with vintage style tuners. With a good setup, this could be an amazing player guitar with a unique history!
