We are moving and need to find a loving home for this rare all-original Steinway & Sons Model V upright piano in walnut, manufactured in Hamburg. The Model V is one of Steinway’s most distinctive mid-century upright designs, known for its compact architectural form and warm, resonant sound. It is tuned and ready for pick-up. We are also willing to work with you on shipping.
As you might already know, The Model Z is famously associated with John Lennon and Yoko Ono; Lennon’s own walnut Model Z was the piano on which he composed Imagine. This is not that piano, but it is the same model and finish family, slightly taller than the more compact model Z, making it a beautiful piece of Steinway and music history.
This piano has been carefully maintained, regularly tuned, and well cared for, and remains in excellent condition. It is being offered only because of a move.
