Fender American Vintage II ‘66 Jazzmaster (Modified), Ice Berry Flake Burst Custom Finish

I build and custom finish guitars (IG/TT @districtguitar) and this one of my favorite builds, especially since I’m a sucker for offsets.

Fair warning: the Ice Berry flake burst is going to steal the show wherever you play. The burst effect is flake-on-flake, which behaves completely different than a traditional candy-over-flake burst. It’s insane in person. Sometimes the edge looks solid light blue, and when you move it a couple degrees, you see a fiery red/magenta piercing through. Flake-on-flake bursts are difficult and time-consuming to execute, which is why you almost never see them on guitars; certainly not from a factory. Neck: Fender AVII ‘66 Jazzmaster maple with 7.25” radius rosewood fretboard, block inlays, binding, and bone nut. The headstock artwork is the original Fender artwork that has been laser engraved through the finish.

Body: Fender AVII ‘66 Jazzmaster alder body

Electronics: Fender American Vintage 65 Jazzmaster pickups and stock electronics from Fender‘s Troy Van Leeuwen signature Jazzmaster. The pickups sound awesome and I really like the toggle switch for faster switching to/from the rhythm circuit vs a slider switch.

Hardware: Fender vintage tuners, Halon satin stainless steel vibrato (wanted to try one of these for a while and it’s awesome), mustang style bridge with individually adjustable height saddles
