I am the original owner who purchased this extraordinary Prism Sound Orpheus for $4,569 brand new. It is in perfect working condition. These AD/DA converters are pristine—mastering grade—from my smoke-free recording studio.
I’m including a pristine Aural Symphonics FireWire digital audio cable and the FireWire to thunderbolt adapter for plug and play capability into an Apple Mac. I recall paying hundreds of dollars for the Aural cable alone. The original box, power cable, software, and original metal rack mounting brackets are included (see photos). The tape on the face of the Orpheus is just electrical tape (marking 85db for my studio), which you can remove or reuse.
PLEASE NOTE: Before purchasing, the Orpheus requires downloading 64 bit Orpheus Control App v1.10 for Monterey, Big Sur & Catalina. ***Mac OS Ventura and newer MacOS are currently not supported.*** Make sure your OS is compatible.
